Swami-Chaya Pratisthan is a registerd Society being Reg No.BEL/DR/SOR-345/2001-2002 running an old age home by name Gharkul . Donations for this has been granted exemption under 80G of IT and we too have got registration for CSR activities. Gharkul established in 2001 in a small rental premises, now is in its own premises with having 22 rooms with facility for individual as well as sharing basis. For the betterment of Senior citizens and as need of society, we are planning to increase the capacity by extending one more floor of the existing premises. Cost of the construction can be achieved only by getting donations by way of CSR Funding.
Gharkul is located at Benkanhalli hardly 6km away from Belagavi City. This area is under Gram Panchayat of Benkanhalli. To fulfill the needs of elderly people of Gharkul, we are undertaking ecofriendly activities:-
As there are Lots of trees, greenery and heavy rainfall but still facing problem of water supply. We are totally depends on well and borewell water. we intend to conserve water by way of Rain Water Harvesting. We also plan to use CSR fund to install this rain water harvesting plant.
Being ecofriendly by using solar energy to heat water to utilize it for bath to elderly people of Gharkul, this is the best solution on Electricity cut off and heavy charges. To increase capacity and additional facility which require huge cost. CSR funds can be helpful in a long way for installation of Solar Water Heater.
Exercises and Physiotherapy is needful for Senior Citizen to be get fit. We are concerned to our resident as well as our nearby villagers to provide them medical equipment and facilities. Being a responsible citizen planning to have Physiotherapy classes on hourly basis so that all can take benefit of it. CSR funds may help to achieve this goal.
